Team yogaleggs have found themselves rather busy in the month of September. It’s all been happening; we have barely had time to fit in our yoga practice!!!!!!
In recent months we have been very fortunate to cross paths with some gorgeous, likeminded, friendly yogis. Who not only loved the vibrancy, quality and leopard print designs of our new and exciting range of yoga and Pilates active wear, they wanted us to show them off to their beautiful students and fellow legging lovers. (aren’t yogis the most generous souls)? So #teamyogaleggs accepted the invitations and have been popping up here, there and everywhere.
We have been lucky enough to #popupshop at www.hummingbirdpilates.co.uk and spend the afternoon with Kellie Jones and her team. Such a great atmosphere and close knit community offering yoga, pilates and treatments. Kellie couldn’t wait to get her perfectly pink yoga leggs on, best of all they perfectly matched her pink hair (fabulous). As an added bonus to the day Becki and I stumbled on Writtle sunflowers on our journey home and had to stop to admire the breath taking view and buy some sunflowers of course.
Next we did a quick visit to www.fringe.yoga where the very lovely Jodie and Raquelle were hosting the most wonderful yoga beauty brunch in conjunction with www.curaapothecary.com it really did look and taste as good as it sounds and #teamyogaleggs were slightly disappointed that we were there to sell yoga leggs instead of being part of the pampering!
On to www.goodvibesfitness.co.uk for a trip out of Essex and into London, which was considerably harder than we had anticipated .Although we have mastered the assembly of our collapsible rail and can now have it up and fully stocked with yoga leggs in record timing, we hadn’t fully considered the logistics of travelling by tube with a full stock of yoga goodies. Let’s just say it’s a good job we have yoga muscles! Nahid de Belgeonne was one of our very first online customers and absolutely rocks her yoga leggs (she was the inspiration behind glamming them up with heels) and her studio is amazing; colourful and brimming over with good vibes and good intentions. Nahid is very supportive of the ongoing refugee crisis and has organised a Benefit Workshop on Sunday 27th September to help raise much needed funds.
We spent the most amazing Saturday at the home of our yoga leggs ambassador Abi Adams www.loveoolongtime.com who holds an annual organic garden party and delivers no end of holistic treats and varieties of yoga (not feeling quite brave enough for kundalini, although it looked like #seriousfun) we both opted for Clare Bates Hatha yoga class, which was slow and strong (perfect). Clare Neil Co-founder of www.radiancecleanse.com gave an expert demonstration and talk on the benefits of juicing and shared with us some of her delicious new products. Followed by a great session with Alice Taylor-Rugman who had some top tips for perfecting plank and finally (one of our all time faves) yoga nidra with Jenny Taylor. (Wow) this was all before the delicious lunch, cooked by Abis other half Nick. I did question whether the day was to be considered work or yoga? Eventually we dragged ourselves from our very relaxed states and actually got selling. Grat satisfaction for us; to interact and encourage fellow yogis out of their black leggings and in to some leopard print, attention grabbing yoga leggs. #teamyogalegs can’t wait for next year (I might even be brave enough to leave my comfort zone and join Abi for Kundalini).
Proving that yoga leggs are not just for yoga we were invited by Glynis and Tracey at www.reposestudio.co.uk to pop up and show off our active wear to the very fit ladies that work out on the power plates (Becki has recently become ever so slightly addicted)It’s pretty hardcore and the adrenalin was definitely pumping . Our yoga leggs went down a storm, we were also very excited to show off our new Serious Fun vest (our motto) and our new I love life sweatshirt (we do) both created to compliment our range of yoga leggs (well you did keep asking where are the tops).
