
A Life Less Inflammatory
Wouldn’t we all like to start the day by NOT wanting to sell our children and murder our partners????
But there’s a bit more to inflammation than just our rollercoaster of emotions…
What are you currently stacking in your day:
- Alarm clock wake up?
- Coffee with no breakfast (just not hungry)?
- Public transport?
- Pre-packaged lunch?
- Deskbound for more than 5 hours?
- After work drinks?
- Stressing about getting home for children/family for dinner and bed?
- Working on a computer into the night?
Take a deep breath and acknowledge just how awesome you are for managing a list like this on a daily basis. We forget just how much we put into life, especially when no one’s there to commend us (other than your own inner voice telling you its not enough and to keep going).
Stress is a healthy adaptation to growth and development, but we just don’t have enough rest in between every call to action. And now we are experiencing a plethora of inputs driving the same response. Inflammation is driven by major 3 contributors:
- Environment
- Chronic Stress
- Toxic Load
Sadly, we are swimming in stressors and toxins that we can’t even see, which you can find in your clothes, food, perfume, skincare, water…. The list is endless. We now have to take action, understand our choices and make those that take us towards health and wellbeing instead of away from it and a life full of pain.
The human body is incredible in its ability to adapt to survive, and we’ve done such a good job we can’t even feel the messages our body sends us to let us know something isn’t working. Symptoms such as:
- Psoriasis
- Eczema
- Fatgue
- Hair loss
- Muscle weakness
- IBS
- Endometriosis
- Brain fog
- PMS
These are all symptoms that are common, but NOT normal, in our modern-day world. But instead of putting up with it, you can do something about it. And it’s about reducing your inflammation through environment, your stress levels and toxic load.
