Church Yard Yoga
24th June 2023
Epping Open Gardens is hosting an al-fresco charity yoga event on Saturday 24th June in the beautiful grounds of All Saints Church, Upland Rd, Epping Upland, Epping CM16 6PH. It is a magical setting with views over open countryside.
Along with the opportunity to participate in 4 different hour long yoga classes (Hatha and Vinyassa Flow) taught by excellent local teachers, we invite you to try a 10-minute taster session of Ariel yoga. This can be an amazing experience and especially relaxing. Whilst suspended in parachute silk, you are able to achieve poses previously restricted by the weight of your body.
At 1800 hrs there will be a gong bath inside the 13th-century church. The acoustics within this special building are stunning and this is your chance to lie down cocooned in a favourite blanket on your yoga mat, drifting into a state of peaceful relaxation. Various instruments are used to stimulate the senses.
Throughout the event, refreshments will be available, including homemade cakes.
We have some fantastic raffle prizes which have been kindly donated including meals at local restaurants, Fortnum and Mason “Bubbles and Chocolates”, bottles of wine, 1:1 yoga with Lucinda Harvey, cycling cookbook and accessories, 4 ball golf at a local course, beautiful garden planters and lots more…
Please come along and help us to support the following worthwhile charities.
CanalAbility are presently raising funds for an electric canal boat. This charity hosts river trips encouraging people from various walks of life, many with challenging disabilities to enjoy our local scenery from the safety of specially adapted canal boats. These are operated by kind volunteers.
Crohn’s and Colitis UK. These diseases affect the quality of so many people’s lives. The charity’s mission is to break the associated taboos and bring people together whilst driving forward pioneering research.
