Food and Art Exhibition (Fart)
With just weeks to go the Gravelly Barn team in Braughing are almost ready to tempt your tastebuds with an amazing combination of food and art at their Fart Exhibition (Food and Art!)
The three-day show at the EJD Studio in Gravelly Lane, Braughing SG112RD promises to be a fascinating fusion of visual art and culinary creations, all prepared for your delectation… and to raise money for charity as well. It will feature work by some of the best local artists, including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, printing and 3-D work. In fact, something to cater for all tastes – literally.
There will be displays and demonstrations by chef Clive Marshall showing how food presentation can be seen as art in its own right. You may even be able to sample some. And to complete the senses, there will be music from the Ware Ukulele Group on Saturday afternoon and a live performance by the Razed Roof Inclusive Performance Arts Group from Harlow, again based around the theme of food. Please see our website for dates and times.
Teas, coffee, cakes and other refreshments will be available on all three days and there will be free parking opposite Gravelly Barn. Disabled parking on site.
The exhibition runs from Friday 23 June to Sunday 25 June, with doors opening from 10.00-17.00 on Friday and Saturday and 10.00-16.00 on Sunday. Admission is free and all the work will be offered for sale.
All the money raised will be going to Haematology Cancer Care at University College London Hospital, a charity supporting patients and research, the latest of which being the ground-breaking CAR T-cell therapy. This uses the patient’s own immune system to fight cancer and is now available on the NHS.

Attached is a downloadable poster of the exhibition. Please feel free to print and display it anywhere so even more people will know about this fabulous exhibition.
We look forward to seeing you
